As a pioneering CEO & CFO of a nationwide wholesale distribution company in Canada from 1990-2001, Alex Smyth learned from experience and has worn all hats. Experience taught him that a business owner must be able to lead his organization and not get bogged down in administrative details.

He founded Smyth Accounting Service in 2003 to support & empower the small business owner.  Smyth knows that the leverage found in outsourcing and the wise application of technology are enormous contributors to success of any business.  He has exposure to a wide variety of accounting software applications and sectors in the accounting industry. QuickBooks is the software of choice because of its ease of use and customizability.
